ATTACK!!!

Today has been a bad day. 

My pets always know when I’m upset.

First my dog Cassie jumped up on my bed, crawled up to me and licked away my tears, until I was crying harder. She stayed still while I pet her, and she doesn’t like to be pet a lot unless she’s extra tired. Once she retreated, my older kitty Mario jumped out from his daylight hiding place and laid down with his head against my heart, purring. 

I don’t know how the rest of today will turn out, but right now, I feel loved.
