The adults did not appear to be as worried about Korra because they had to compose themselves- they have to act that way in the face of danger, as the former police chief and a counselman. All down to business and focused, it’s in their job descriptions.
Bolin’s crush on Korra was like a grade-school crush. He cares about her as a friend now, but is generally care free, even in dangerous situations. His brother is more driven to protect those he cares about (shown when his brother was missing), and I’m guessing that the lack of friends and relationships in his life so far has led him to cling tightly to those he has (like Bolin and Korra).
And… I think Mako is also in love with Korra, but doesn’t realize it yet. He clearly cares about Asami, but did you hear him say, “No… no she can’t be gone!” when Lin busted them out of prison? When he saw Korra on Naga, he acted like his whole world was there, like he was the only one who could ever care that much about her.
I suspect that either he’ll own up to his own feelings, or that the much more emotionally mature Asami (poor girl) will break it off after contemplating her boyfriend’s feelings toward Korra. She is coming to some sort of conclusion, after seeing them interact in her the back seat of her car, after being told that Korra likes Mako and especially after learning that they kissed. She has handled everything very well so far, I give her credit.
